<p>No matter what you do, nothing seems to work. It&#8217;s simply because you have negative attraction.</p>
<p>You likely don&#8217;t realize you have negative attraction and you wonder how did this ever happen? After all,&nbsp; you want a better life, you want to succeed, you want to make more money and live that dream but nothing seems to work.</p>
<p>Negative attraction is something you develop over time. Of course, you and millions of other people don&#8217;t intentionally develop negative attraction.</p>
<p>You end up with negative attraction when your energy isn&#8217;t tuned in&nbsp; with what you really want.</p>
<p>Negative attraction happens when you have more <a href="https://creatingpower.com/tentipsforpositivethinking/">negative than positive energy</a>.</p>
<p>Instead you have negative energy that attracts negative situations.<br />
No matter what you try, nothing changes and it won&#8217;t.</p>
<p>You end up getting more of what you don&#8217;t want, more negative situations and things just seem to go from bad to worse.</p>
<p>You can try to think and be positive but if you have too much negative energy, nothing you do will work. You just won&#8217;t be able to get ahead.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s only because the negative energy is blocking your success, it&#8217;s limiting you and stopping your subconscious mind from helping you attract and get what you want in life.</p>
<p>This negative energy is the result of past negative thinking and negative beliefs that say you can&#8217;t do something or that it&#8217;s hard to do something. The negative thinking and negative beliefs prevent you from even taking that very first step toward achieving your goal.</p>
<p>We all have some negative thoughts, even I do.</p>
<p>But negative energy is completely different and you may not even realize that you have negative energy until you take a closer look.&nbsp; So let&#8217;s do that right now</p>
<h2><span style="color: #000080;">What&#8217;s Your Energy? Positive Or Negative</span></h2>
<p>Here&#8217;s how you can find out what your energy level is and where it&#8217;s headed. Just answer the questions below and be honest:</p>
<p><span style="color: #000080;"><em><strong>Do you think it&#8217;s hard to get what you want or succeed?</strong></em></span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> <em><strong>Do you think it&#8217;s hard to make more money?</strong></em></span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> <em><strong>Do you have difficulty sleeping at night?</strong></em></span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> <em><strong>Do you worry or get stressed about the future?</strong></em></span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> <em><strong>Do you think you have to work hard to get ahead?</strong></em></span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> <em><strong>Do you find you just don&#8217;t have enough time?</strong></em></span><br />
<span style="color: #000080;"> <em><strong>Are you facing financial challenges?</strong></em></span></p>
<p>If you answered yes to any of these questions then you have some negative energy.<br />
The more yes answers you have the more negative&nbsp; energy you have.</p>
<p>Saying yes to any of the above is a clear sign that there&#8217;s negative energy being generated and that&#8217;s likely to lead to more negativity in your life.</p>
<p>The more negativity you have, the harder life gets.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s because you&#8217;re sending out negative energy.<br />
And that negative energy will attract more negative situations which will only make life more difficult.</p>
<p>For example: if you think and believe that it&#8217;s hard to get what you want or to succeed then you&#8217;ll attract the situations, people and&nbsp; opportunities that make it hard for you to succeed.</p>
<p>If you think and believe that it&#8217;s hard to make more money or meet t he right person then you&#8217;ll always attract situations, people and opportunities that make it hard for you to meet the right person or make more money.</p>
<p>What ever you think and believe is what your subconscious mind will create. That&#8217;s because your subconscious simply makes sure that your life is a mirror of what you think and believe.</p>
<p>So you have to switch from having&nbsp; negative attraction energy to having positive attraction energy so that your subconscious mind brings you what you want.</p>
<p>You do that by changing what you believe and think.</p>
<p>So if you think it&#8217;s hard to do something then you have to change those thoughts and create thoughts and beliefs that correspond with getting what you want more easily</p>
<p>Simply trying to think that it&#8217;s easy to make money won&#8217;t work.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s because you have all these negative examples, <a href="https://creatingpower.com/get-rid-of-negative-thinking/">negative thoughts and negative beliefs</a> that say it&#8217;s hard to make money.</p>
<p>So if you simply say it&#8217;s easy, you&#8217;ll just get tremendous resistance from your mind and you&#8217;ll give up.</p>
<p>Instead, you have to think of why you can succeed, how you can achieve what you want, why and how you can get what you want.</p>
<p>You have to re-program the way you think and believe.<br />
You have to create new patterns of thinking and believing so that you shift your energy from the inside.<br />
Then you&#8217;ll create positive energy and attract the people, situations and opportunities so that you succeed.<br />
You&#8217;ll get your powers working for you and you&#8217;ll get what you want. You&#8217;ll eliminate the negative attraction energy.</p>
<p>Your energy is picked up by the universe and other people.<br />
They respond to you based on your energy and your subconscious mind brings people into your life that match your energy.</p>
<p>Positive energy attracts positive people, positive situations and leads to a positive and happy life.</p>
<p>Negative energy attracts negative people, negative situations and leads to a negative life.</p>
<h3>Get rid of Negative Energy</h3>
<p>Your energy is made up of your thoughts and beliefs.<br />

<p>What exactly is its job and how does it affect us? Most of us know we have a subconscious mind, but we really don’t know how to harness its power. So let’s give you some answers and guidance.</p>
<p>The subconscious is like your life’s hard drive. It’s where you will find everything stored that isn’t currently in your conscious mind. This means you will find everything you’ve previously been through, all those past memories and experiences stored in your subconscious mind.</p>
<p>Let’s look at an example. Remember the first time you tried to ride a bike. It took a lot to stay coordinated to steer, pedal, and watch for traffic. At that point, you were still using your conscious mind. But later on, after you mastered bike riding you could do all of those things at once and still hold a conversation. That’s because now the information is stored in your subconscious mind. So the process of riding a bike is automatic. You just know how to do it without consciously thinking about it.</p>
<h2><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Capture the Power of the Subconscious Mind</strong></span></h2>
<p>Once you build a working relationship with your subconscious mind, you’ll be able to personally enjoy the benefits. But to do this you have to become familiar with your subconscious and its role in your life. One way to do this is to simply spend several minutes daily doing affirmations to yourself. For example, “My subconscious and I are partners in my success.” Doing this starts to train us to think and recognize that we have a second mind that’s very powerful and it is an important part of our success. It takes the subconscious from being abstract to being real.</p>
<p>Next, you need to begin to understand how your conscious mind and subconscious mind work together and to learn the function of both. Your subconscious mind has two main roles in your life.</p>
<p>It attracts us to circumstances and conditions based on what we think and believe. You will attract what you regularly think and believe or what you always focus on. Now that you realize your subconscious mind isn’t limited and will create your life based on your thoughts and beliefs, you can understand the power of your subconscious mind. It simply follows your thoughts and beliefs and helps you do things based on what it has stored (those habits and actions that are automatic).</p>
<p>Your subconscious mind will act on any instructions or requests you give it. If you repeatedly have the same thought, it will accept it as a fact. Your subconscious can’t tell the difference between what is real and what you imagine. This is also why affirmations and visualizations can be so powerful. When you do these exercises regularly, you create images within yourself, which your subconscious acts upon and makes sure that they manifest in your reality.</p>
<p>Our conscious mind guards our subconscious. It is the job of the conscious mind to make sure that only the highest quality thoughts will find their way to the subconscious. It’s important to understand that whatever thoughts and beliefs we have will eventually make their way to the subconscious and from there they will manifest themselves in our lives. The more diligent we are in directing our life, controlling our thoughts by choosing to remove negative thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts, the more our life will look the way we want it to.</p>
<h2><strong>How to Program Your Subconscious Mind</strong></h2>
<p>Think of the mind as a computer and the sets of directions, such as those to ride the bike, as software that will run the instant you needed. The same applies to many of the emotions and activities in our lives. If a certain person always annoys you, then that installed software will launch every time you see that person and you’ll feel annoyed and try to avoid them.</p>
<h2><strong>The Rules of the Subconscious Mind</strong></h2>
<p>To maximize the power of your subconscious you need to know the rules that govern how it works.</p>
<ol>
<li>The subconscious mind isn’t able to tell the difference between reality and fiction<strong>.</strong> This is also the key to getting the power out of your subconscious through visualization – where you give it images of what you want your life to look like</li>
<li>The longer the subconscious believes something the more difficult it will be to change that belief</li>
<li>Each thought will create a physical reaction. If you are thinking that you are going to do terrible with a presentation, you’ll find your pulse racing as soon as you begin talking. These physical changes are the result of your subconscious thoughts and beliefs</li>
<li>What you expect is generally what you realize. If you are certain you will not get a job, you will not get it. If you are certain you will fail an exam, you will fail it. Whatever you are thinking on your subconscious level will almost always come to be.</li>
<li>Change your beliefs and you can change your life. If you believe you aren’t smart, someone’s going to confirm that and you’ll believe it even more. If you believe you aren’t attractive, someone will confirm that too, and make you believe it even more. So create beliefs that allow you to have what you want. <p>Most of us find ourselves carrying or thinking negative thoughts more often than we would like. These negative thoughts play in your brain like a movie and they can zap your energy and prevent you from enjoying life. They also end up making life a lot more difficult and harder. Because what you think is what you get.</p>
<p>I’ve written a few articles on positive thinking that you can find on this site. So today I’m giving you 10 positive thinking tips that you should implement everyday so that you develop a positive thinking mindset, have more positive things happen and so that you actually enjoy your day</p>
<h2><span style="color: #000080;">Positive Thinking Tips</span></h2>
<p><strong>#1 Smile</strong></p>
<p>Yes, that’s right – a simple smile can change the way you think. Find a mirror and smile into it. Don’t worry if it seems weird or you find you have trouble doing this exercise. Force yourself if you have to, but just go it. Smiling will help you relieve stress and it can directly change your mood and replacing negative thinking with positive thinking. Did you know that it takes fewer muscles for you to smile than it does for you to frown? So smile and smile often. Share a smile with a stranger, a friend, a colleague, a child, a parent, a sibling, a spouse, a boss – anyone.</p>
<p><strong>#2 Meditate</strong></p>
<p>Quiet the mind and change your thoughts. You want to take your focus away from what you are thinking about, so focus on your breathing. You can do this with the use of a simple meditation, or you might want to participate in a Yoga class. All of these options offer a way for you to bring yourself back into the ‘now.’ Staying in the now will help you improve your positive thinking. You will be focused on this moment and not worrying about what might happen tomorrow or what happened yesterday.</p>
<p><strong>#3 Seek Positive and Avoid Negative People</strong></p>
<p>This is one of the best positive thinking tips you can participate in. You tend to behave like those around you. Therefore, if you are hanging out with negative people you are going to act and think in a negative way. However, if you are hanging out with people who have a positive outlook on life, you will find that you are also thinking in a positive way, and this is very important. Positive thinking will actually make life better and it will make the tough times more bearable. So look for people that share your positive outlook and don’t let the negative people bring you down.</p>
<p><strong>#4 Change Your Mind Change Your Life</strong></p>
<p>You need to change your mind from thinking negative thinking to positive thinking. At first, this can seem tough but practice will make it easier. You can retrain your brain through meditation, but also in your daily activity – if a negative thought comes into your mind, stop the thought process and turn it around to something positive.</p>
<p><strong>#5 Give a Helping Hand</strong></p>
<p>Instead of spending your time thinking about yourself, why not take the focus off of yourself and be nice to someone else – it will encourage positive thinking. It does not matter who it is. It might be a friend, family member, a charity, or a stranger you meet in the grocery store. Lend a hand, you’ll feel better, you’ll help someone else and they’ll feel better and you’ll create a lot of positive energy which will attract more positive situations into your life.</p>
<p><strong>#6 Remember You Don’t Have to be a Victim</strong></p>
<p>You create your life. That means you don’t have to be a victim. Even when your current situation seems unbearable there is always a way out. You need to make that choice because you always have a choice. Choose to take charge of your life. Put what happened behind you and choose to start moving forward. You can create any life you want but you have to move forward. Seeing yourself as a victim and thinking about what went wrong will leave you stuck and feeling helpless. Take charge and move forward. This is your life. Let go of the past and create the future you desire.</p>
<p><strong>#7 Move On – No one is Perfect</strong></p>
<p>You can waste your time dwelling on the mistakes you made, feeling terrible, letting those negative feelings surface – or – you can recognize that no one is perfect and that you’ll learn from your mistakes and move on taking away even one small positive thing from the experience. When you move on you allow yourself to attract more positive situations. One day you’ll look back and see how everything just worked out – but you have to be open and move on.</p>
<p><strong>#8 Sing a Song</strong></p>
<p>Singing makes a person feel better – it lifts the spirits and it brings about positive feelings. It can relieve stress and it can lift your mood and make you feel upbeat. Don’t worry – if you don’t do well with remembering words hum along or make up your own words. Too often people do not sing because they have trouble remembering the lyrics – do not let that be you. Sing along and enjoy what it does to your mood. It really is the power of positive thinking. <p>Your Success starts in your mind. And that&#8217;s where we need to turn things around. For you to achieve greater success, or simply achieve any goal you have to think and believe you can succeed.</p>
<p>That means you have to push out the negative thoughts and negative beliefs.</p>
<p>Negative thoughts really don’t help you, they make your life difficult, prevent you from pursuing your goals and dreams and really hold you back; they don’t let you live to your full potential.</p>
<p>Everyday we have tens of thousands of thoughts. It’s estimated the average person will have 50-thousand thoughts a day. When you’re stressed that number can easily climb to 80-thousand.</p>
<p>Unfortunately most of those thoughts are negative.</p>
<p>These negative thoughts can really destroy your life or at the very least make your life difficult and unpleasant.</p>
<h2><strong>Why We Need To Get Rid Of Negative Thinking</strong></h2>
<p>When you have too many negative thoughts you misdirect your subconscious mind. You actually force this powerful partner to bring you the situations that you don’t want in life. And when you hang on to your negative thoughts, when you allow them to stay on your mind, your subconscious will keep making your life harder and harder only because you’re giving your subconscious the wrong instructions.</p>
<p>You need to change how you direct your subconscious and that means getting rid of the negative thoughts and negative beliefs.</p>
<p>In this article I show you how to stop negative thinking and direct your subconscious to bring you the situations you really want, so that you live the kind of life you really want.</p>
<h2><strong>Negative Thoughts: Weeds Of The Mind</strong></h2>
<p>Negative thoughts are a lot like weeds, they pop up quickly, and you don’t even notice them. Before you know it they spread and destroy your garden which is your subconscious mind.</p>
<p>Just like weeds destroying a garden, over time, negative thoughts will destroy your life, prevent you from achieving your goals, make you feel like giving up and really make life a lot harder.</p>
<p>That’s why it’s crucial that you stop negative thinking and get rid of negative thoughts as quickly as possible.</p>
<h2><strong>How Your Thoughts Create Your Life</strong></h2>
<p>Your thoughts connect you to your subconscious mind. Your subconscious picks up on all your thoughts. It doesn’t act on every thought. Instead, it responds to thoughts that are repeated over and over again. These kinds of thoughts become beliefs.</p>
<p>Beliefs are what your subconscious mind acts on. It sees your beliefs as instructions for creating your life. This is how you direct your subconscious mind, with your beliefs.</p>
<p>Positive thoughts that are repeated over and over again become positive beliefs. When you have positive beliefs, your subconscious will pick up on these positive instructions and create your life based on your positive instructions, so life will be more pleasant and enjoyable.</p>
<p>You probably have some positive beliefs that allow you to function and get things done. Here’s a simple example of a positive belief that your subconscious mind may be following as an instruction.</p>
<p>You likely believe that you can get to work on time everyday and so this belief is picked up by your subconscious mind which helps you get to work on time everyday. You’ll get up at a certain time, you’ll leave home at a certain time and you’ll get to work on time just about everyday.</p>
<p>Sure once in a while you’ll have something slow you down, but your subconscious will even help you get to work on time when something slows you down by sending you an intuitive message.</p>
<p>Believing you’ll get to work on time everyday is a positive belief that allows you to achieve something important – getting to work on time. It’s this kind of belief that allows you to function.</p>
<p>Negative thoughts that are repeated over and over again become negative beliefs. These kinds of beliefs are also picked up by your subconscious mind; they’re also instructions which your subconscious follows. Because these beliefs are negative your subconscious will then create situations that make your life difficult.</p>
<p>Here’s an example of a negative belief that can make your life difficult</p>
<p>You might believe that it’s hard to make money. You want to make more money but you think it’s hard to make and have more money. When you have this kind of belief in place, you subconscious will make sure that you have a difficult time making money, so that making money is hard for you.</p>
<p>You may choose the wrong investments, you may choose the wrong opportunities, you may choose a job that doesn’t pay you enough, and it will get harder to make and have more money.</p>
<p>Your subconscious will simply create and shape your life based on what you regularly think and believe.</p>
<h2><strong>How to Get Rid Of Negative Thinking</strong></h2>
<p>So now you know how your thoughts and beliefs work. You know your subconscious simply follows your beliefs – positive or negative. Your life is simply a mirror of what you think and believe.</p>
<p>To enjoy life, to succeed, to achieve more and get all that you want out of life you have to get rid of the negative thinking and then remove the negative beliefs connected to those negative thoughts. You can get rid of the negative thoughts and negative beliefs by following these simple steps:</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Step 1 – Do A Personal Checkup</strong></span></h3>
<p>Take a look at the areas of your life where you feel things aren’t working out, where you might not be as happy as you’d like to be or where you feel that you just can’t achieve what you want.</p>
<p>You might find that you’re not happy with your current finances and when you take a closer look you’ll discover that you have a number of negative thoughts and negative beliefs about money that are preventing you from achieving your financial goals.</p>
<p>You’ll have negative thoughts and negative beliefs in all areas where you’re not happy or not achieving a particular goal.</p>
<p>There are underlying thoughts, fears and beliefs that go against what you really want. These are the negative thoughts and beliefs. Once you’ve identified these negative thoughts and negative beliefs you can go on to the next step which is to change or remove the negative thoughts and negative beliefs.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Step 2: Removing and Changing Negative Thoughts and Beliefs</strong></span></h3>
<p>Once you’ve identified the negative thoughts and negative beliefs you can begin changing them by creating new thoughts that will lead to new beliefs. These new thoughts are affirmations that you should say to yourself as often as you can when ever you can.</p>
<p>Take a look at the negative thought and create a statement or affirmation that is the opposite of that negative thought.</p>
<p>For example: If you have a belief that says: It’s difficult to meet good men/women – then change this to the opposite which would be: It’s easy to meet good men/women</p>
<p>This may seem simplistic and it is – but it’s also very effective. The key is to repeat these statements when ever you can. Don’t just wait for negative thoughts to come up, say the statements as often as you can so that you don’t allow the negative thoughts to enter.</p>
<p>You’ll likely find that your conscious mind is putting up resistance to these new thoughts and that you do not believe them right away. That’s okay, it’s to be expected.</p>
<p>If that happens just continue reciting the affirmations and work with what I outline in Step 3 (see below).</p>
<p>After a while you’ll develop a new belief that will help you achieve what you want. Once you’ve completed this step, go on to Step 3</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Step 3: Supporting New Beliefs</strong></span></h3>
<p>Now that you know the limiting beliefs that are holding you back and now that you have new statements to replace and remove those limiting beliefs you need to support these new beliefs.</p>
<p>By supporting these new beliefs you reduce the amount of resistance from your conscious mind.</p>
<p>In this step you’re going to have a conversation with yourself and your conscious mind. You’re going to nurture and encourage yourself and your conscious mind. Here’s how you do that.</p>
<p>When you say your new statements you want to support that statement with examples of why you can succeed or examples that support the new statement/affirmation</p>
<p>For example: If you have a new statement that says: It’s easy to make money then support that with examples. You do this by looking at all the different ways that people make a lot of money without having to work as hard as you do. Or you could look for examples of people who made a lot of money. You could make more money by getting a raise, a promotion, a better paying job or starting a business. You could make money with investments or doing something completely different.</p>
<p>If you have a statement that says: It’s easy to meet the right person, then think of all the ways you could meet this right person. You could simply bump into them, you could meet them through a friend, &#8211; just think of all the ways you could meet people.</p>
<p>You always want to focus on solutions so that you support your new beliefs and statements. You’ll also push your mind to stop being so negative and that alone will get rid of a lot of the negative thinking.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s really that simple or is it?</p>

<p>If you want to achieve anything, if you want to have any success, what ever goal you want to achieve you have to believe that you can and will succeed</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t believe you can you&#8217;ll simply give up and that leads to automatic failure. Because once you give up, it&#8217;s game over.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s easy to give up and if you&#8217;re one of those people that can&#8217;t seem to succeed or experience the success you want then you may not truly believe in yourself and/or that you can achieve the success you want.</p>
<p>When that happens there&#8217;s a good chance that you&#8217;ve formed some negative beliefs. These are beliefs tied to thoughts that basically say you  can&#8217;t do certain things or that you can&#8217;t achieve your goals.</p>
<p>They&#8217;re negative beliefs and if you have any desire to be successful or have a better life you need to change them, get rid of them.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s what you can do to get rid of the negative and limiting beliefs holding you back.</p>
<p>Think about what you would like to achieve and then track the thoughts that come up.<br />
Your thoughts are usually tied to your beliefs and vice versa.<br />
When you find negative thoughts, make a note of them and start changing them and you&#8217;ll begin the process of changing your beliefs.</p>
<p>If you have negative thoughts tied to long standing beliefs then you&#8217;ll likely get some resistance from your mind and you may find those negative thoughts getting stronger and stronger.<br />
Your mind is just putting up resistance to changes and the best way to deal with that resistance is to take a gentle approach and keep working on changing those negative thoughts and<br />
negative beliefs.</p>
<p>Your beliefs really shape and create your life and there&#8217;s scientific proof of this. Your beliefs and how you view the world also impact your happiness, health, sense of well being and motivation.</p>
<p>Science has also found that you can change your beliefs and once you do you can alter the course of your life, improve your health and begin to thrive &#8211; but that requires removing and replacing the negative beliefs that hold you back.</p>
<p>The wrong beliefs can doom you to a life of misery and failure.</p>
<p>For example: If you believe that life is difficult then you&#8217;ll always have difficulty in life.</p>
<p>If you believe there are no good ways to make money then you&#8217;ll never find great ways to make money</p>
<p>If you believe you can&#8217;t succeed, you never will. Instead, you&#8217;ll just give up</p>
<p>Your life is a mirror of your beliefs. So if you&#8217;re having difficulty in a particular area of your life take a look at your beliefs in that area.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll discover a number of beliefs that are holding you back and preventing you from succeeding.</p>
<p>These need to be changed. And the sooner you do that the better.</p>
<p>The longer the beliefs stay in place the stronger they get and the harder they become to change or remove.</p>
<p>Over the years you developed your beliefs which have created your life</p>
<p>Now they continue to shape your life.<br />
Your subconscious keeps creating your life based on your beliefs.</p>
<p>And when you have negative beliefs you create more negative situations in your life.</p>
<p>When you have positive beliefs, you create more positive situations.</p>
<p>You get to choose your beliefs, choose them wisely. Don&#8217;t accept negative beliefs, don&#8217;t accept failure</p>
<p>Beliefs that don&#8217;t allow you to succeed or don&#8217;t help you achieve your goals should be removed and replaced.</p>
<p>Now you can&#8217;t simply dig into your mind and remove all the beliefs that don&#8217;t work for you.</p>
<p>Instead, you have to apply specific steps, change your thought patterns, then remove and replace the negative beliefs.<br />

<p>Negative people can really knock you down, drain your energy, force you to give up and make you feel like you can&#8217;t achieve your goals or even make good decisions. When you run into negative people that make you feel negative and get you down, positive thinking might be the furthest thing from your mind.</p>
<p>You probably don&#8217;t realize it but that negative energy that&#8217;s coming from those negative people is really destroying any positive energy you may have. You might wonder why you feel so bad at the end of the day when you’ve endured negativity at work, at school, or even when you&#8217;re just with friends (especially if they&#8217;re negative). It’s all those negative statements and that negative energy that&#8217;s draining you.</p>
<p><span id="more-5330"></span></p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;">Time to Get Rid of That Negative Energy</span></h3>
<p>So what can you do? How do you keep that negative energy away or prevent it from affecting you?</p>
<p>The easiest thing to do is to stay away from those negative people and avoid negative conversations. But you may not even realize just who is having a negative impact on you. Then when you do find out they might just be really close friends and people you like. You may not want to stay away from them.</p>
<p>If that&#8217;s the case then change the conversation. Avoid being sucked into negative conversations that just make you feel bad and create more negative energy. That doesn&#8217;t mean you can&#8217;t express how you feel &#8211; just don&#8217;t get into a negative dialogue which just keeps going.</p>
<p>Try to create a positive conversation. You may get some resistance and they may fight you on your positive spin, that&#8217;s okay. If that happens, try to exit the conversation.</p>
<p>Avoid the whiners. You know; the kind who always complain and whine about everything. It will take way too much work to try and convince them that life is great and that they should be positive. I would skip them. If they&#8217;re close friends or family then you may want to try a gentle approach and see if you can create a positive conversation rather than trying to change them</p>
<p>If you simply can’t stay away from negative people and have to deal with them, try to create an internal series of positive thinking so you&#8217;re not impacted by their negativity.</p>
<p>For example, if you work with someone who constantly complains don&#8217;t try to get them to see the brighter side. Just keep it short and move on. After a while they&#8217;ll likely get the hint and because you&#8217;re not negative, they&#8217;ll just stay away.</p>
<p>Negative people like to feed off negativity. So if you&#8217;re not negative they simply won&#8217;t want to be around you.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;">Use The Power Of Positive Thinking</span></h3>
<p>If you really want to help someone go from being negative to being positive and get rid of all the negative energy, then you can try turning the tables around by saying something positive when they get into a negative tailspin.</p>
<p>You can even explain to them how positive thinking helps you to get through your days and helps you be more optimistic and happy.</p>
<p>Show them or explain the benefits of positive thinking and try to get them to see the brighter side. Help them break the habit of negative thinking and being negative. This will take work so expect some push back from them &#8211; just be patient.</p>
<p>You can even have a little contest or trial. Come up with a series of positive affirmations that are focused on helping them achieve a particular goal. You can do the same for yourself.</p>
<p>Then commit to reciting the affirmations for at least 3 months and after that see if there&#8217;s been some improvement or if they&#8217;ve even become a little more positive. If you see some progress, keep going for another 3 months.</p>
<p>You can also check up on each other and help each other with their affirmations and help create positive thoughts.</p>
<p>Try daring them and ask them if they&#8217;re up for the challenge. Ask them to try being positive for a week and see how it helps them and if they can break their negative dialogue.</p>
<p>The goal is to get yourself and them into a habit of positive thinking &#8211; just remember &#8211; do this for those you really care about because most negative people will put up a lot of resistance and blast more negativity towards you &#8211; not to mention a few curse words may come your way.</p>
<p>If they fight back or give up don&#8217;t take it personally. Just go back to being positive and focus on doing what you can to spread the positive energy.</p>
<p>You can use positive thinking to deal with negative people and get rid of negative energy &#8211; even if it&#8217;s your boss. It will just take some time and practice.</p>
<p>Once you get the hang of it you&#8217;ll feel a lot better and the days will be a lot easier. You also won&#8217;t have to deal with all that negative energy. Try it for 90-days &#8211; then come back and let me know how things went.</p>

<p>Your Success starts in your mind. And that&#8217;s where we need to turn things around. For you to achieve greater success, or simply achieve any goal you have to think and believe you can succeed.</p>
<p>That means you have to push out the negative thoughts and negative beliefs.</p>
<p>Negative thoughts really don’t help you, they make your life difficult, prevent you from pursuing your goals and dreams and really hold you back; they don’t let you live to your full potential.</p>
<p>Everyday we have tens of thousands of thoughts. It’s estimated the average person will have 50-thousand thoughts a day. When you’re stressed that number can easily climb to 80-thousand.</p>
<p>Unfortunately most of those thoughts are negative.</p>
<p>These negative thoughts can really destroy your life or at the very least make your life difficult and unpleasant.</p>
<h2><strong>Why We Need To Get Rid Of Negative Thinking</strong></h2>
<p>When you have too many negative thoughts you misdirect your subconscious mind. You actually force this powerful partner to bring you the situations that you don’t want in life. And when you hang on to your negative thoughts, when you allow them to stay on your mind, your subconscious will keep making your life harder and harder only because you’re giving your subconscious the wrong instructions.</p>
<p>You need to change how you direct your subconscious and that means getting rid of the negative thoughts and negative beliefs.</p>
<p>In this article I show you how to stop negative thinking and direct your subconscious to bring you the situations you really want, so that you live the kind of life you really want.</p>
<h2><strong>Negative Thoughts: Weeds Of The Mind</strong></h2>
<p>Negative thoughts are a lot like weeds, they pop up quickly, and you don’t even notice them. Before you know it they spread and destroy your garden which is your subconscious mind.</p>
<p>Just like weeds destroying a garden, over time, negative thoughts will destroy your life, prevent you from achieving your goals, make you feel like giving up and really make life a lot harder.</p>
<p>That’s why it’s crucial that you stop negative thinking and get rid of negative thoughts as quickly as possible.</p>
<h2><strong>How Your Thoughts Create Your Life</strong></h2>
<p>Your thoughts connect you to your subconscious mind. Your subconscious picks up on all your thoughts. It doesn’t act on every thought. Instead, it responds to thoughts that are repeated over and over again. These kinds of thoughts become beliefs.</p>
<p>Beliefs are what your subconscious mind acts on. It sees your beliefs as instructions for creating your life. This is how you direct your subconscious mind, with your beliefs.</p>
<p>Positive thoughts that are repeated over and over again become positive beliefs. When you have positive beliefs, your subconscious will pick up on these positive instructions and create your life based on your positive instructions, so life will be more pleasant and enjoyable.</p>
<p>You probably have some positive beliefs that allow you to function and get things done. Here’s a simple example of a positive belief that your subconscious mind may be following as an instruction.</p>
<p>You likely believe that you can get to work on time everyday and so this belief is picked up by your subconscious mind which helps you get to work on time everyday. You’ll get up at a certain time, you’ll leave home at a certain time and you’ll get to work on time just about everyday.</p>
<p>Sure once in a while you’ll have something slow you down, but your subconscious will even help you get to work on time when something slows you down by sending you an intuitive message.</p>
<p>Believing you’ll get to work on time everyday is a positive belief that allows you to achieve something important – getting to work on time. It’s this kind of belief that allows you to function.</p>
<p>Negative thoughts that are repeated over and over again become negative beliefs. These kinds of beliefs are also picked up by your subconscious mind; they’re also instructions which your subconscious follows. Because these beliefs are negative your subconscious will then create situations that make your life difficult.</p>
<p>Here’s an example of a negative belief that can make your life difficult</p>
<p>You might believe that it’s hard to make money. You want to make more money but you think it’s hard to make and have more money. When you have this kind of belief in place, you subconscious will make sure that you have a difficult time making money, so that making money is hard for you.</p>
<p>You may choose the wrong investments, you may choose the wrong opportunities, you may choose a job that doesn’t pay you enough, and it will get harder to make and have more money.</p>
<p>Your subconscious will simply create and shape your life based on what you regularly think and believe.</p>
<h2><strong>How to Get Rid Of Negative Thinking</strong></h2>
<p>So now you know how your thoughts and beliefs work. You know your subconscious simply follows your beliefs – positive or negative. Your life is simply a mirror of what you think and believe.</p>
<p>To enjoy life, to succeed, to achieve more and get all that you want out of life you have to get rid of the negative thinking and then remove the negative beliefs connected to those negative thoughts. You can get rid of the negative thoughts and negative beliefs by following these simple steps:</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Step 1 – Do A Personal Checkup</strong></span></h3>
<p>Take a look at the areas of your life where you feel things aren’t working out, where you might not be as happy as you’d like to be or where you feel that you just can’t achieve what you want.</p>
<p>You might find that you’re not happy with your current finances and when you take a closer look you’ll discover that you have a number of negative thoughts and negative beliefs about money that are preventing you from achieving your financial goals.</p>
<p>You’ll have negative thoughts and negative beliefs in all areas where you’re not happy or not achieving a particular goal.</p>
<p>There are underlying thoughts, fears and beliefs that go against what you really want. These are the negative thoughts and beliefs. Once you’ve identified these negative thoughts and negative beliefs you can go on to the next step which is to change or remove the negative thoughts and negative beliefs.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Step 2: Removing and Changing Negative Thoughts and Beliefs</strong></span></h3>
<p>Once you’ve identified the negative thoughts and negative beliefs you can begin changing them by creating new thoughts that will lead to new beliefs. These new thoughts are affirmations that you should say to yourself as often as you can when ever you can.</p>
<p>Take a look at the negative thought and create a statement or affirmation that is the opposite of that negative thought.</p>
<p>For example: If you have a belief that says: It’s difficult to meet good men/women – then change this to the opposite which would be: It’s easy to meet good men/women</p>
<p>This may seem simplistic and it is – but it’s also very effective. The key is to repeat these statements when ever you can. Don’t just wait for negative thoughts to come up, say the statements as often as you can so that you don’t allow the negative thoughts to enter.</p>
<p>You’ll likely find that your conscious mind is putting up resistance to these new thoughts and that you do not believe them right away. That’s okay, it’s to be expected.</p>
<p>If that happens just continue reciting the affirmations and work with what I outline in Step 3 (see below).</p>
<p>After a while you’ll develop a new belief that will help you achieve what you want. Once you’ve completed this step, go on to Step 3</p>
<h3><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Step 3: Supporting New Beliefs</strong></span></h3>
<p>Now that you know the limiting beliefs that are holding you back and now that you have new statements to replace and remove those limiting beliefs you need to support these new beliefs.</p>
<p>By supporting these new beliefs you reduce the amount of resistance from your conscious mind.</p>
<p>In this step you’re going to have a conversation with yourself and your conscious mind. You’re going to nurture and encourage yourself and your conscious mind. Here’s how you do that.</p>
<p>When you say your new statements you want to support that statement with examples of why you can succeed or examples that support the new statement/affirmation</p>
<p>For example: If you have a new statement that says: It’s easy to make money then support that with examples. You do this by looking at all the different ways that people make a lot of money without having to work as hard as you do. Or you could look for examples of people who made a lot of money. You could make more money by getting a raise, a promotion, a better paying job or starting a business. You could make money with investments or doing something completely different.</p>
<p>If you have a statement that says: It’s easy to meet the right person, then think of all the ways you could meet this right person. You could simply bump into them, you could meet them through a friend, &#8211; just think of all the ways you could meet people.</p>
<p>You always want to focus on solutions so that you support your new beliefs and statements. You’ll also push your mind to stop being so negative and that alone will get rid of a lot of the negative thinking.</p>

<p>Your subconscious mind is super powerful. It not only regulates your body and allows you to follow certain habits without thinking about it; your subconscious can also guide you to new opportunities and help you achieve success when you plant the right thought habits and beliefs on your subconscious. These thought habits and beliefs are the instructions that drive the subconscious – taking you where you want to go.</p>
<p>However, it can also take you where you don’t want to go – if you give it the wrong instructions. The wrong instructions are negative thoughts and negative beliefs.</p>
<p>Experts agree that by the time we are seven years old, 90 percent of all our learning for our lifetime has occurred. We have learned how to talk, walk, think and we have many of the skills we need to survive. It is this subconscious mind programming that determines whether we succeed or fail in life. In a nutshell, this is a time when we are being programmed to be a success or failure, to live carefree and happily or not. Your subconscious mind is your voice, thought and video recorder.</p>
<p>Every day, we use our subconscious mind for automatic functions – brushing our hair, chewing gum, mowing the lawn, washing the dishes, getting dressed, driving, and the list goes on. Any activity that you have repeatedly done is part of your subconscious mind programming. It is why repetition is one of the most effective ways to program or re-program our subconscious mind.</p>
<h2> <strong>What if You Don’t Like Your Mental Programming?</strong></h2>
<p>Your subconscious mind has recorded everything you have ever heard, thought, seen or experienced. Remember, your subconscious doesn’t distinguish between what is true or false. That is the job of your conscious mind. Your subconscious accepts all. So if you have negative programming on your subconscious you can change that negative programming and install a positive program – so that your subconscious brings you what you really desire.</p>
<p>Research shows it takes the average person 21 days of conscious non-stop reprogramming to change an old habit. For example, let’s look at quitting smoking. If you have a period where you haven’t smoked (conscious effort) your programming changes, and you can be successful plant a new positive habit on your subconscious to replace the negative habit of smoking.</p>
<h2> <strong>Subconscious Mind Training</strong></h2>
<p>Here are some subconscious mind training techniques to change your subconscious mind programming.</p>
<h3> <strong>#1 Positive Mantras and Affirmations</strong></h3>
<p>A mantra is an affirmation that you repeat over and over. When you repeat positive mantras, your subconscious mind picks up on these and they become beliefs. Once they’re beliefs your subconscious creates situations in your life to mirror those beliefs. For example, let’s say you are sad, feel life is chaotic, and out of control. Then you begin to repeat the affirmation “I am happy and living in harmony.” Soon after enough repetition, that is what your subconscious will believe to be true and you’ll have more harmony and feel happy. You will have rewritten your subconscious mind programming.</p>
<h3> <strong>#2 Create Positive Routines </strong></h3>
<p>Now that you know how your subconscious works, you can create routines and habits that will drive your subconscious to create the situations you want. Start creating positive routines and positive habits to change your life.</p>
<h3> <strong>#3 Solve Problems</strong></h3>
<p>Your subconscious mind can help you solve problems quickly and easily. When you feel you have a problem you can’t resolve consciously let your subconscious take responsibility over your conscious mind. Just think about the problem for bit.</p>
<p>Tell your subconscious to find a solution to the problem. Now forget the problem and go about your everyday routine. It won’t take long for a solution to click, you just have to be open to recognizing or seeing the solution. This is your subconscious mind programming at work.</p>
<h3> <strong>#4 Meditation</strong></h3>
<p>Meditation is important to train your subconscious. Learn to believe in yourself, think about new ideas and get inspired. Meditation helps you achieve the mental focus you desire as well as the necessary concentration to gain cognitive power. This will let you enjoy the ‘now’ while planning for your future.</p>
<h3> <strong>#5 Visualization</strong></h3>
<p>Repeated visualization is highly effective in subconscious mind programming. It will help you to accomplish your targets. This includes setting goals that excite you, be passionate about those goals and imagine the end results.</p>
<h2> <strong>The Subconscious and Conscious Mind</strong></h2>
<p>Your subconscious mind is your data storage bank while our conscious mind is our awareness center – our communication center. When our conscious mind sends out a request to our subconscious mind it responds.</p>
<p>Our conscious mind thinks, calculates, reasons, plans, directs the body, makes decisions, and determines the results. It also registers pain, happiness, fear. It sets goals and it is creative. However, for your conscious to be able to do these things it needs somewhere to pull stored information – that’s your subconscious mind.</p>
<p>From the minute you are born, your subconscious mind takes in everything you learn and all of your experiences. It soaks up information and gathers information as we grow – it is like a huge sponge. It starts to form beliefs and viewpoints based on everything you have learned and experienced. All of these beliefs gain momentum and power, as we get older.</p>
<p>Every day of our lives, our conscious mind makes choices – these are our conscious choices but they are made based on all of the knowledge we have stored in our subconscious mind over the years we have lived. You can re-program your Subconscious mind so that you experience a different outcome from the conscious mind.</p>
<p>Working with your Subconscious mind is crucial to creating the changes you want and that means planting new thoughts, new beliefs and a new positive program on your subconscious mind. At any given time, your subconscious mind programming can be changed. If you don’t like what you see, then change it.</p>

<p>You can use positive affirmations to manifest your needs and to bring positive change into your life. Positive affirmations are simply statements recited over and over again and used to program your subconscious mind and to effect change. Let’s look at this in more detail.</p>
<h2><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Examining Affirmations</strong></span></h2>
<p>Any positive self-talk or inner dialogue is a form of affirmations.</p>
<p>We are constantly affirming at a subconscious level with our thoughts and words. This flow of affirmations actually creates our life experience – it becomes ‘your story.’ Negative statements create a negative life. Positive statements create a positive life. It’s really that simple.</p>
<p>We learn our beliefs through patterns that we developed starting back in our childhood. Many beliefs work well but some of these beliefs could be working against you. These affirmations can stop us from getting what we want. Every affirmation that we say or think is actually a reflection of our beliefs – our ‘inner truth.’ We need to recognize that some of these inner truths are not valid. They may have been developed when we were a child and now are not relevant or appropriate.</p>
<p>The behavior patterns that are stored in our subconscious allow us to automatically respond to events that occur in your life. This is crucial to our survival as we must be able to quickly respond to events in our life. That’s what these learned responses allow us to do.</p>
<p>To make changes you can use positive affirmations, which are simply short positive statements that target your subconscious belief system and that will challenge your negative beliefs so that you replace them with a positive belief. Think of it as your own personal brain washing.</p>
<h2><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Do Positive Affirmations Actually Work?</strong></span></h2>
<p>Absolutely! Yes! You’ll have a hard time finding a self-help program that doesn’t at some point use affirmations especially daily affirmations. These daily affirmations are part of the program because they work. The stronger minded and determined you are to effectively make the change the more ready you are to accept the change and let go of your past, and therefore the more likely the change will occur.</p>
<h2><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>How and Why Positive Affirmations Work</strong></span></h2>
<p>When you choose to say these positive affirmations, they get imprinted on your subconscious mind. Your conscious mind will either avoid or accept the new statement as a belief. The conscious mind wants to stick to what it knows and will often put up resistance to new positive statements that contradict what it is used to thinking and believing. You’ll know when this is happening because you’ll have strong negative feelings as you are stating your positive affirmations. You have to keep working with the new positive affirmations. Once you start to feel joy and have a sense of well being, you know your mind is accepting and the affirmation is working.</p>
<p>When you constantly repeat the affirmation, you are chipping away at the resistance from your conscious mind. Your affirmations reprogram your thinking process and they change the way you think or feel. Of course, for you to enjoy success from using daily affirmations you have to really be determined to see the change. If you put in a halfhearted effort you’ll get halfhearted results.</p>
<h2><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>How Positive Affirmations Can Help You</strong></span></h2>
<p>No matter what it is you are dealing with in your life, using daily affirmations can help you to feel better about your life and yourself. When used properly they can be a tool to reprogram your mind and remove any negative beliefs that might interfere with what you want in life and they tend to do this over and over.</p>
<p>Some example of affirmations that you might use include:</p>
<p>An affirmation for:</p>
<ul>
<li>Good health</li>
<li>Love</li>
<li>Wealth</li>
<li>Abundance</li>
<li>Romance</li>
<li>Happiness</li>
<li>Weight loss</li>
<li>Peace</li>
<li>Self esteem</li>
<li>Harmony</li>
</ul>
<p>All of these are common affirmation topics. Of course, your positive affirmations can be anything you want.</p>
<h2><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>How to Create Positive Affirmations That Work</strong></span></h2>
<p>Let’s look at how you can create your own positive affirmations or daily affirmations.</p>
<ol>
<li>Start by thinking about what in your life you would want to improve and think about how you would like your life to look. Write down what’s most import to you.</li>
<li>Now have a look at your list and beside each of the items you need to write down two or three positive statements written in the present tense and they must focus on what you want. For example, let’s say that you want to maintain good health. Your affirmation would be something like “I live a healthy lifestyle and I am healthy.”</li>
</ol>
<p>If you create personal affirmations these are right for you! In the beginning, you will be using a releasing affirmation. A good example of a releasing affirmation is “Right now I am willing and able to release my past.”</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h2><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>How to Supercharge Your Daily Affirmations</strong></span></h2>
<p>There are techniques that you can use to supercharge your affirmations so that they are more effective. Let’s look at a few ways of doing that.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>#1 Mirror Work</strong></p>
<p>One of the most powerful daily affirmations occurs when you are standing in front of the mirror and state your affirmations.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>#2 Put it in Writing</strong></p>
<p>One way to keep your affirmations fresh and in your mind is to write them down. Put it on a postit, leave it on a card around the house, put it in print where you will find it, and it will help you with your affirmation. Another way that helps is to write down your affirmation 20 times. That’s kind of like the old ‘blackboard days’ of writing the ‘I will not’ message on the chalkboard.</p>

<p><strong>#3 Sing it Out Loud</strong></p>
<p>Sing your affirmation to your favorite tune or make it up as you go. This is a great way to make your affirmation a reality.</p>

<p>So you try to be positive and optimistic and maybe you succeed… for a few minutes. Then those negative thoughts come in and try as hard as you can, you just can’t seem to remain positive and optimistic. Don’t feel so bad, you’re not alone.</p>
<p>Most of us find ourselves carrying or thinking negative thoughts more often than we would like. These negative thoughts play in your brain like a movie and they can zap your energy and prevent you from enjoying life. They also end up making life a lot more difficult and harder. Because what you think is what you get.</p>
<p>I’ve written a few articles on positive thinking that you can find on this site. So today I’m giving you 10 positive thinking tips that you should implement everyday so that you develop a positive thinking mindset, have more positive things happen and so that you actually enjoy your day</p>
<h2><span style="color: #000080;">Positive Thinking Tips</span></h2>
<p><strong>#1 Smile</strong></p>
<p>Yes, that’s right – a simple smile can change the way you think. Find a mirror and smile into it. Don’t worry if it seems weird or you find you have trouble doing this exercise. Force yourself if you have to, but just go it. Smiling will help you relieve stress and it can directly change your mood and replacing negative thinking with positive thinking. Did you know that it takes fewer muscles for you to smile than it does for you to frown? So smile and smile often. Share a smile with a stranger, a friend, a colleague, a child, a parent, a sibling, a spouse, a boss – anyone.</p>
<p><strong>#2 Meditate</strong></p>
<p>Quiet the mind and change your thoughts. You want to take your focus away from what you are thinking about, so focus on your breathing. You can do this with the use of a simple meditation, or you might want to participate in a Yoga class. All of these options offer a way for you to bring yourself back into the ‘now.’ Staying in the now will help you improve your positive thinking. You will be focused on this moment and not worrying about what might happen tomorrow or what happened yesterday.</p>
<p><strong>#3 Seek Positive and Avoid Negative People</strong></p>
<p>This is one of the best positive thinking tips you can participate in. You tend to behave like those around you. Therefore, if you are hanging out with negative people you are going to act and think in a negative way. However, if you are hanging out with people who have a positive outlook on life, you will find that you are also thinking in a positive way, and this is very important. Positive thinking will actually make life better and it will make the tough times more bearable. So look for people that share your positive outlook and don’t let the negative people bring you down.</p>
<p><strong>#4 Change Your Mind Change Your Life</strong></p>
<p>You need to change your mind from thinking negative thinking to positive thinking. At first, this can seem tough but practice will make it easier. You can retrain your brain through meditation, but also in your daily activity – if a negative thought comes into your mind, stop the thought process and turn it around to something positive.</p>
<p><strong>#5 Give a Helping Hand</strong></p>
<p>Instead of spending your time thinking about yourself, why not take the focus off of yourself and be nice to someone else – it will encourage positive thinking. It does not matter who it is. It might be a friend, family member, a charity, or a stranger you meet in the grocery store. Lend a hand, you’ll feel better, you’ll help someone else and they’ll feel better and you’ll create a lot of positive energy which will attract more positive situations into your life.</p>
<p><strong>#6 Remember You Don’t Have to be a Victim</strong></p>
<p>You create your life. That means you don’t have to be a victim. Even when your current situation seems unbearable there is always a way out. You need to make that choice because you always have a choice. Choose to take charge of your life. Put what happened behind you and choose to start moving forward. You can create any life you want but you have to move forward. Seeing yourself as a victim and thinking about what went wrong will leave you stuck and feeling helpless. Take charge and move forward. This is your life. Let go of the past and create the future you desire.</p>
<p><strong>#7 Move On – No one is Perfect</strong></p>
<p>You can waste your time dwelling on the mistakes you made, feeling terrible, letting those negative feelings surface – or – you can recognize that no one is perfect and that you’ll learn from your mistakes and move on taking away even one small positive thing from the experience. When you move on you allow yourself to attract more positive situations. One day you’ll look back and see how everything just worked out – but you have to be open and move on.</p>
<p><strong>#8 Sing a Song</strong></p>
<p>Singing makes a person feel better – it lifts the spirits and it brings about positive feelings. It can relieve stress and it can lift your mood and make you feel upbeat. Don’t worry – if you don’t do well with remembering words hum along or make up your own words. Too often people do not sing because they have trouble remembering the lyrics – do not let that be you. Sing along and enjoy what it does to your mood. It really is the power of positive thinking. If you don’t feel like singing or humming just listen to some upbeat music – the kind that makes you feel good and puts a bounce in your step.</p>
<p><strong>#9 What are You Grateful About? </strong></p>
<p>Here is a terrific positive thinking tip – it is one of the most effective! Every day be grateful for five things. If it sounds like a lot that’s your negative thinking coming through. You see the optimist would find more than five things every day to be thankful for. So give it a try. It is okay if you come up short every now and then but practicing this exercise will help you with your positive thinking. Come up with 5 things you’re grateful for everyday and start today.</p>
<p><strong>#10 Make Positive Quotes Part of Your Life</strong></p>
<p>The sharing of positive quotes is actually very popular these days especially since social media has become so popular. If you were listing, simple positive thinking tips, sharing quotes should definitely be on the list of things to do, because it has been known to increase positive thinking.</p>
