You could be sitting in traffic – late for that important meeting, or maybe you just can’t seem to close that business deal or maybe you had a fight with your boss and you’re worried that you could be out of work soon. Or maybe you’re going through a difficult time and don’t know how things will turn out. It’s easy to get down. But you can’t stay down, you have to lift yourself up.
Here’s how you can do just that, even when you feel like your world is falling apart.
The solution is in your mind – it’s that part of you which thinks, knows, remembers and feels things. That’s where we start.
To better handle your stresses and be happy, you have to create a Positive Mindset. You do that by getting rid of your negative thoughts.
Negative Thoughts – 2 simple words that have a HUGE (negative) impact on every aspect of your life – your well-being, your health, your wealth and your success in life. That’s big and that’s why you MUST get rid of negative thoughts if you want to be happier.

Can you get rid of them for good? Not really. I won’t lie to you and say you’ll never have another negative thought again – that’s simply not true. Life happens. You’ll always go through ups and downs. Although you can’t get rid of negative thoughts for good – you can control them and not let them get the better of you by replacing them ASAP. The more you practice this, the easier it gets.
So, how do you get rid of negative thoughts?
Some people spend a lot of money seeking help from doctors and therapists. Often they have underlying symptoms that have been created as a result of their negative mindset. But the truth is – regardless of the treatment you seek – the solution is consistent:
You Need to Work on Your Thoughts.
There’s no magic pill you can take. You need to do what it takes to create a positive mindset. If you take the time to do this, I’ll guarantee it will be the best investment you’ve ever made. Your future self will thank you!
So let’s look at 3 steps that will help you get rid of those negative thoughts in order to create your Positive Mindset.

STEP 1: Do A Personal Checkup
The first step is to identify the areas where your negative thoughts live. Look around – what parts of your life are not working out? Are you struggling to make ends meet? Are you in a job that just doesn’t motivate you? Are you and your partner emotionally disengaged? Write down these areas that come to mind.
Now, look closer at each area that you identified. For each of these areas, write down the thoughts that come to mind.

STEP 2: Remove and Change Your Negative Thoughts
The second step is to remove the negative thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts.
Now that you have identified your negative thoughts (in step 1), you can begin by changing them.
How?
By creating new thoughts to replace the existing ones. These new thoughts are affirmations that you should say to yourself as often as you can, whenever you can.
Let’s look at an example:
If you have a thought that says: “It’s difficult to make money” – change the thought to: “It’s easy to make money and I see opportunities all around me to make money”.
Now every time the old thought pops up in your mind, pinch yourself and replace the thought right away with a new positive statement.
Seems simplistic – it is – but it’s also very effective.
Over time, you’ll no longer have the old thought – only the new positive one will appear and this is one step closer to creating your Positive Mindset.

STEP 3: Identify Opportunities to Support Your New Beliefs
The third step is all about being open to opportunities and new possibilities.
You’re going to nurture and encourage yourself to support your new belief. Here’s how:
When you say your new positive statements you want to support them with examples of why you can succeed or examples that support your new thoughts.
If you have a statement that says: “It’s easy to meet the right person” then think of all the ways you could meet this right person. You could meet them through a friend, through work, at a social event. Simply think of all the ways you could meet people.
You always want to focus on solutions so that you support your new thoughts and beliefs. You’ll also push your mind to stop being so negative and that alone will get rid of a lot of the negative thinking.
